Welcome to Music of Armenia

Celebrating the beauty of music and its limitless power, Music of Armenia (MoA) is breathing new life into the Armenian music legacy by rediscovering, preserving and promoting Armenian music and talent, while creating innovative collaborations and offering audiences outstanding concerts and festivals.

In October 2015, Music of Armenia launched its first festival – Yerevan Duduk Festival, which celebrates the legacy of duduk. Following the success of Yerevan Duduk Festival, Music of Armenia launched its second festival – Sayat Nova Festival in June 2016, which promotes Sayat Nova’s music and ashough culture in general. It was only natural that Music of Armenia would also launch a festival dedicated to Armenian sacred music, and in September 2016, Sharakan Festival was born, which took place at Tatev Monastery.

In 2018, MoA also launched Women’s Musical Month, an annual month-long celebration dedicated to Armenian female musicians and their music.

Կարևորելով երաժշտության գեղեցկությունն ու նրա անսահման ուժը` «Մյուզիք օֆ Արմենիա»-ն նոր շունչ է հաղորդում հայկական երաժշտական ժառանգությանը` վերաբացահայտելով, պահպանելով և խթանելով հայկական երաժշտությունն ու գովերգելով հայ երաժիշտների տաղանդը:  Միևնույն ժամանակ «Մյուզիք օֆ Արմենիա»-ն նպաստում է նորարար համագործակցությունների ստեղծմանը և հանդիսատեսին մատուցում է բացառիկ համերգային ծրագրեր ու փառատոններ:

2015 թ. հոկտեմբերին մեկնարկեց «Մյուզիք օֆ Արմենիա»-ի առաջին փառատոնը` Երեւանի Դուդուկի Փառատոնը (Yerevan Duduk Festival), որը փառաբանում է դուդուկի ժառանգությունը: Երեւանի Դուդուկի Փառատոնի հաջողությունից հետո

Music of Armenia-ն նախաձեռնեց իր երկրորդ` Սայաթ–Նովա Փառատոնը 2016 թ. հունիսին, որը նպաստում է Սայաթ–Նովայի երաժշտության եւ առհասարակ աշուղական մշակույթի տարածմանը: Բնական և սպասված էր, որ «Մյուզիք օֆ Արմենիա»-ն կհիմնի նաև հայկական հոգևոր երաժշտությանը նվիրված փառատոն, և 2016 թվականի սեպտեմբերին ծնվեց Շարական Փառատոնը, որը տեղի ունեցավ Տաթևի վանքում:

2018 թ.-ին «Մյուզիք օֆ Արմենիա»-ն նախաձեռնեց «Կանանց Երաժշտական Միամսյակը», ամենամյա մեկամսյա միջոցառում` նվիրված հայ կին երաժիշտներին եւ նրանց երաժշտությանը:

Live events

By bridging various genres, in both, conventional and unconventional locations, Music of Armenia strives to alter the perceptions of audiences of all ages and backgrounds while creating the ultimate live music experience across Armenia and abroad.

MoA also gives young Armenian musicians the opportunity to perform, participate, learn, contribute and exchange their skills and knowledge with their peers and established musicians. This encourages them, it gives them valuable cultural experience and enhances their skills.

«Մյուզիք օֆ Արմենիա»-ն երիտասարդ, վճռականորեն տրամադրված և մոտիվացված կազմակերպություն է, որը նախաձեռնում է իր սեփական նախագծերը:  Մեր բազմատեսակ ծրագրերի միջոցով մենք օգնում ենք սահմանել նոր ուղիներ և հաստատել ամուր հիմքեր կենդանի երաժշտության և ելույթների համար:

«Մյուզիք օֆ Արմենիա»-ն նաև հնարավորություն է տալիս երիտասարդ երաժիշտներին ելույթ ունենալ, մասնակցել, սովորել, ներդրում ունենալ և փոխանակել իրենց ունակություններն ու գիտելիքները իրենց հասակակիցների եւ կայացած երաժիշտների հետ:

Educational Programmes

Our educational programmes seek to educate and engage (young) musicians interested in music making by demonstrating how modern approaches and techniques give a new life to traditional music and methods. 

Through the delivery of a range of workshops and residencies we aim to encourage them to gain in depth knowledge about Armenian music, modern standards and international markets. 

These programmes give them confidence, teach them self‐expression/presentation and help develop lifelong skills, while offering young people a different view of music and the arts, and ultimately of themselves.

«Մյուզիք օֆ Արմենիա»-ի կրթական ծրագրերի միտումն է կրթել և ներգրավել երաժշտության ստեղծմամբ հետաքրքրված (երիտասարդ) երաժիշտների` ցուցադրելով նրանց, թե ինչպես ժամանակակից մոտեցումներն ու մեթոդները կարող են նոր շունչ տալ ավանդական երաժշտությանը:

Մի շարք վարպետաց դասերի, պրակտիկայի և կրթաթոշակային ծրագրերի միջոցով` մենք ձգտում ենք քաջալերել նրանց ձեռք բերել խորացված գիտելիքներ հայկական երաժշտության, ժամանակակից չափանիշների և միջազգային շուկաների ու տենդենցների մասին:
